Our goal with every new home build is to meet the personality of the home buyer with a design that fits their needs and wishes! Whether this means choosing to build a completely custom floorplan, selecting one of our plans, or tweaking one of our plans to fit your needs, our ultimate goal is to make sure our customers' personality shines in their new home. To that end, we believe there are some very important considerations that should be thought about before meeting with us to start designing your new home:
1.Location and Lot Selection:
Have you selected the neighborhood or lot where you want to live? If not, visit our Available Lots page to see existing developments around Fargo and surrounding areas! We already own lots in some of Fargo's finest developments!
Have you considered what commute you will have to work? Is traffic to work an important consideration when choosing where to build?
Have you looked into the school options in the area you are considering for your new home build? Visit our City, Parks, and Schools resource page on our website to see what school district your home would be located in, or to see other amenities near you!
4. Home Financing:
Have you worked with a lender to determine your funding for your dream home? If not, we have some great recommendations for excellent custom home building lenders in our area. Just ask!
5. Your Home Requirements:
Last but not least, have you thought about your requirements for your new dream home? It's always helpful to make a list of needs, wants, and maybe's. How many bedrooms do you need? Two-Story, Rambler, or other? What does your dream kitchen look like? Do you plan on hosting and entertaining? Are there special room requirements such as an office space, weight room or playroom? Visit our Gallery Page to get ideas for different areas of your home from some of our beautiful past builds! You and your family should take some time to think of things that you need in your home. We will help with addressing space requirements, budget, and the design process to realize your desires, but having them mapped out will make for a more comfortable process!
